As the art collector’s loss still lingering in her wake, Kate Horna (character) falls prey to the relentless obsession of secret serial killer Bruce Ernst. His fixation on her culminates in a brutal murder, with the distinctive Erinyes statue serving as his calling card. The very same sculpture that had initially sparked his fascination now becomes an integral part of his twisted psyche.

Bruce’s plans for a weekend getaway at his remote woodland cabin are designed to claim another victim, Meredith Tanning, his new girlfriend and a gallery docent still reeling from the aftermath of an abusive relationship. Unbeknownst to Bruce, Meredith is drawn to the enigmatic Erinyes statue, recognizing it as having passed through her museum for provenance verification purposes. Her curiosity piqued, she takes a photo of the sculpture and shares it with her colleague Wendy, who works alongside her at the museum.

As tensions escalate between Bruce and Meredith, the latter becomes increasingly unsettled by a series of bizarre occurrences that seem to defy explanation. She sees an unknown woman strolling by outside, further solidifying her growing unease. Initially resistant to leaving, Meredith eventually demands to depart, with Bruce reluctantly agreeing to take her back to the city.

However, just as Meredith is about to escape, another vision of the Red Owl figure materializes before Bruce, serving as a harbinger of his own dark impulses. Meanwhile, Wendy’s phone call to Meredith yields chilling news: the Erinyes statue has been reported stolen, and its buyer has mysteriously vanished. Upon Meredith’s return to the main room, she finds herself face-to-face with her own mortality, as Bruce’s blade slices through her throat.

In a stunning turn of events, Meredith inexplicably survives the brutal attack, only to exact a gruesome revenge upon Bruce by bludgeoning him unconscious with the very statue that had been an instrument of his twisted desires. As he recovers from the traumatic head injury, Bruce is met with a series of hallucinatory visions, featuring an aggressive dog, Kate, Meredith, and other figures masked as Furies from ancient Greek theater.

As the haunting hallucinations subside, Bruce makes a desperate attempt to appease the psychological torment that has consumed him. He takes the Erinyes statue outside, offering it up as a sacrifice in hopes of finding relief from his tormentors. However, Meredith’s taunting visions and cryptic conversations continue to haunt him, fuelling his growing sense of desperation.

Bruce becomes convinced that there is a malevolent force lodged within his skull, driving his actions and dictating his next moves. He insists that he is not evil, but rather a pawn in a larger game controlled by this unseen entity. As the stakes grow higher, Bruce finds himself trapped in a living nightmare, forced to confront the dark forces that have taken hold of his psyche.

As a sense of betrayal washes over him, Bruce (actor name) storms out into the open air to reclaim the prized statue. However, his determination is short-lived, as a series of inexplicable visions begins to unfold before him. In these eerie apparitions, Kate and Meredith are seen donning masks, their faces distorted by an unsettling anonymity. The visions converge, driving Bruce deep into the heart of the forest, where the shadows seem to writhe and twist around him like living entities.
