In the midst of the chaotic landscape of World War II, the British army faces a strange predicament: an essential Enigma machine, a pivotal tool for deciphering Germany’s encrypted communications, has mysteriously vanished. This situation leads to a bold strategy to infiltrate the Berlin factory where the machine is located, staffed solely by women. The stakes are raised as four unconventional agents are selected for this daring mission: American operative Matt LeBlanc, British transvestite Tony Parker Eddie Izzard, brilliant genius Johnno (David Birkin), and the hesitant participant Archie (James Cosmo).

As these unlikely heroes navigate the perilous terrain of enemy territory, they encounter Romy, a compassionate local who lends her assistance in their quest for the elusive Enigma machine. Though they face several initial obstacles, this ragtag team achieves the seemingly impossible: they successfully retrieve the sought-after device.

However, just as they prepare for a triumphant escape from Germany, a disturbing twist unfolds. It becomes clear that the British government, in a shocking revelation, had orchestrated the entire mission with a hidden agenda, aiming to dispatch these unlikely heroes to fail. The capture of the Enigma machine would prove futile, as the Germans were ready to switch to a different code system upon realizing its absence. Confronted with this unexpected challenge, Archie makes the ultimate sacrifice by volunteering to be captured along with the device, allowing their mission to “fail” and maintaining the Enigma machine’s effectiveness for future use.

This leads to a thrilling rescue operation as the team races against time to save Archie and make their way back to England. They create the illusion of having succeeded in their original objective, but the tension mounts as the Germans begin to uncover the true purpose of their mission.
