Plot Summary

In the drab office corridors where they’re forced to coexist, Evan Sanders (acting sales manager) confides in his laid-back colleague Tim about an impending presentation that could make or break their chances with the lucrative Phallucite account. The tension is palpable as Evan’s awkward encounter with HR head Amanda lingers in the air, made all the more uncomfortable by Tim’s retelling of the moment to Andrew and Mike in the break room. It seems Amanda had whispered sweet nothings into Evan’s ear, only for him to respond with a firm “no.” The fallout from this awkward exchange is soon followed by a crushing blow: branch president Ted Plunkett passes over Evan for a promotion, instead appointing Max Phillips (Evan’s former college acquaintance) as the new sales manager. To make matters worse, Max has already begun making eyes at Amanda.

As the office settles into its evening routine, Mike retreats to one of the bathroom stalls to indulge in some solo gaming time. Tragically, his evening is cut short when he meets an untimely demise – or so it seems, as Evan stumbles upon Mike’s lifeless body only to find it mysteriously vanished by morning. Meanwhile, Max has been secretly manipulating office employee Dave into embracing the dark side, transforming him into a bloodthirsty vampire. The once-passive Dave is now consumed with an insatiable hunger for revenge, demanding that everyone settle their sports betting debts.

As Evan becomes increasingly anxious to complete his Phallucite presentation, he enlists the help of Zabeth, who harbors a secret crush on him. Her task: retrieve crucial files from the depths of the office basement. Unfortunately, this errand puts her in harm’s way, as she falls prey to Max’s sinister machinations and becomes the latest victim of his vampiric curse.

Evan convinces Andrew to join him for an evening of work in the office, but things take a deadly turn when Andrew ventures into the basement and is attacked by Zabeth’s newly acquired fangs. Meanwhile, Evan is busy rummaging through Max’s office files, uncovering disturbing photographs of Amanda and personnel records where each employee’s photograph is marked with an ominous x, circle, or check.

As the night wears on, Evan finds himself hiding in a supply closet, reeling from the realization that Max is behind the gruesome murders. A desperate phone call to Amanda ends in disaster when Max hijacks her line, taunting Evan with cruel mockery. The strain proves too much for Evan, and he succumbs to exhaustion.

The next morning, Ted, Tim, and Max stumble upon Evan’s slumbering form, while Andrew – now a creature of the night – returns from the depths of the office basement, presentation in hand. Ted scolds Evan for not completing the project himself, but an unexpected twist arises when Max inexplicably defends Evan’s job, sparking a sense of unease that permeates the office.

As Evan’s frantic warnings about a vampiric takeover of their office gain traction with Tim, the two men embark on a desperate quest to uncover evidence of this bizarre phenomenon. Tim shares his own eyewitness account of Max’s transformation of administrative assistant Elaine into one of the undead, further solidifying Evan’s apocalyptic claims. However, Amanda remains resolute in her skepticism, refusing to acknowledge the supernatural forces at play.

Evan and Tim turn to security guard Frank for assistance, only to discover that his car has been burglarized, leaving them without a means to arm themselves against the growing vampire threat. Just as their hopes seem extinguished, the Janitor materializes, revealing his true nature with a vicious attack on Frank. In a swift and decisive move, Frank retaliates by impaling the Janitor through the heart, vanquishing the latest addition to the office’s vampiric ranks.

As they regroup in the aftermath of this bloody confrontation, Evan, Tim, and Frank are shocked to find that their colleagues have all been transformed into productive vampires. The trio readies themselves with an arsenal of office supplies, preparing to face off against Ted, Max, and Andrew in a desperate bid to reclaim control of the office.

Ted’s revelation that he had sanctioned Max’s vampiric activities in the hopes of boosting employee performance only serves to further galvanize Evan and his companions. They soon discover that Max has been planning to eliminate Ted altogether, but before this sinister plan can be carried out, Max takes matters into his own hands, snapping Ted’s neck with ruthless efficiency.

As the three men attempt to escape Ted’s office with Amanda in tow, they find themselves surrounded by an army of vampire employees. A protracted battle ensues, resulting in the eventual annihilation of all vampiric threats. However, just as victory seems within their grasp, Max summons the legal team – now fully entrenched in the undead – and dispatches them to aid in the fight.

Amanda is compelled back into Ted’s office by Max, leaving Evan, Tim, and Frank to face an even more daunting challenge. In the midst of this chaos, Andrew takes it upon himself to eliminate vampire Dave, a long-standing thorn in his side, only to find himself at odds with Tim over the best course of action.

Frank ultimately falls in battle against the hordes of undead legal personnel, while Evan returns to Ted’s office where he and Amanda join forces to vanquish Max. As the dust settles on this apocalyptic scene, Evan, Amanda, and Tim calmly exit the building as dawn breaks, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. Little do they know, however, that Andrew remains at large, his vampiric powers now coursing through him like a dark, primal force. The cleaning woman who enters the office later will become his next victim, her screams and struggles echoing through the desolate landscape as day succumbs to night once more.
