Check out what happened in Critters 3!

As the dust settles on the intergalactic mayhem of the previous escapade, seasoned Critter hunter Charlie MacFadden sets his sights on the last remaining specimens of those pesky, alien creatures. Meanwhile, an unsuspecting family - comprising Annie, her younger brother Johnny, and their father Clifford (the stalwart patriarch) - finds themselves at a roadside oasis, their vehicle's tire suddenly deflated like a punctured balloon.

As Charlie takes a moment to alert them and Josh, the stepson of a morally bankrupt landlord, about the impending threat lurking in the shadows, a cunning Critter secretly lays eggs beneath the family's car. Unbeknownst to them, they've unwittingly picked up this extraterrestrial cargo as they depart the rest stop, setting the stage for a catastrophic chain reaction.

Upon arriving at their dilapidated tenement, the family is blissfully unaware of the horror that awaits them. Frank, the sleazy maintenance man, and eventually the corrupt landlord himself become the first victims of the hatching Critters' insatiable hunger. Josh, in a momentary lapse of judgment, inadvertently traps his stepfather Clifford in his room with the creatures, leaving him to face a gruesome fate.

As chaos erupts throughout the building, Annie's family and five other residents (including Josh) embark on a perilous quest for survival, seeking refuge on the relative safety of the rooftop. Just as all hope seems lost, Charlie makes a dramatic entrance, dispatching the remaining Critters with his arsenal of high-tech gadgets and old-fashioned know-how.

In the aftermath of this bloody battle, the survivors are left shaken but grateful to have emerged unscathed. However, their respite is short-lived, as the film concludes on a cliffhanger note: Charlie stands poised to destroy two last remaining Critter eggs, only to be commanded otherwise by an unknown force, as a containment pod from the Intergalactic Council plummets into the building's basement with ominous consequences.
