Shayda 2023

As a refugee seeking asylum, Shayda finds temporary sanctuary with her young daughter in an Australian women's shelter. Amidst the unfamiliar surroundings, they find solace in traditional Persian customs and the promise of new beginnings. But when her estranged husband reappears, Shayda's fragile sense of security is shattered, forcing her to confront the complexities of freedom and family.
