Her parents had issued a strict ultimatum: improve her grades or face expulsion from the club and a repeat of the 8th grade. The pressure weighed heavily on Claudia, but the campers gathered around her, and with the assistance of their friend, Alan Gray, they created an upbeat rap song that encapsulated the crucial concepts of science. As Mary Anne navigated the ups and downs of her relationship with Logan Bruno, a fellow club member, she found herself caught in a complicated love triangle with Cokie Mason, who was eager to win Logan’s affections. Luca was taken aback, struggling to reconcile his feelings for her with the harsh truth of her age.
