In the heart of Buenos Aires, Daniel Hendler (Luciano Gauna) lives a seemingly mundane life as a children’s party entertainer. Despite his day job, he has always yearned to express his creativity by writing a film script. His routine existence is soon disrupted when a mishap leads him to accidentally injure his best friend and co-worker. This incident rekindles his connection with Manuel (Walter Jakob), an old friend who has recently returned from Spain alongside his girlfriend, Sofia (Jazmín Stuart).

As Manuel prepares to venture to Chile, he requests Luciano to provide Sofia with some sleeping pills. Upon reaching Manuel’s family home, where they are temporarily staying, Luciano not only meets Sofia but also takes notice of her luggage that has traveled with her. Following a tense moment with Manuel’s mother, Sofia leaves with Luciano, carrying her belongings as he leads her to a nearby eatery. Although he offers her the medication, she graciously declines, favoring a more natural remedy.

Their unexpected meeting soon reveals a surprising twist — a character in the upcoming Argentine adaptation of the popular TV series Los Paranoicos shares Luciano’s name, Luciano Gauna. This jarring realization stings him deeply, yet fear of straining his already delicate friendship with Manuel compels him to keep his emotions to himself.

As Sofia’s brief stay at Luciano’s apartment stretches into a lengthy visit, their emotional bond intensifies, blurring the lines of their relationship. Upon Manuel’s return from Chile, he invites Luciano to join the production team as an adaptation consultant, offering him not only a generous salary but also the chance to work in a more structured office environment under his watchful eye.

Despite this enticing proposal, Luciano hesitates, asking Manuel for some time to contemplate his decision. Before they part, Manuel invites Luciano to a party hosted by the production company, promising an opportunity to meet with the cast and crew. The following night, Luciano finds himself mingling at the event, where he unexpectedly comes face-to-face with both Manuel and Sofia. As Manuel shifts his attention elsewhere, Luciano and Sofia seize the moment to dance, their movements flowing in synchronization.

Their spontaneous moment is suddenly interrupted when Manuel discovers them, leading to a tense confrontation. He storms out with Sofia, igniting an argument that leaves a lingering tension in the air. The next day, Luciano seeks out the solitary Manuel, who confronts him with a look of surprise. Curious about Sofia’s whereabouts, Luciano soon finds himself pursuing her as she slips away into the night, driven by a need to understand the unraveling of their complicated lives.
