Zombie Strippers! 2008

The cinematic adventure begins with a striking newsreel montage, illustrating a dystopian near-future where the unimaginable has come to pass: George W. Bush has won a fourth presidential term. The once-mighty United States is ensnared in a web of wars, suffering in various regions including France, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Syria, Venezuela, Canada, and Alaska. Within this dismal setting, a top-secret laboratory in Sartre, Nebraska, is racing against time to engineer a groundbreaking virus aimed at resurrecting fallen Marines, sending them back to battle. However, the efforts are on the verge of disaster as a containment breach looms, and the test subjects along with scientists are perilously close to falling victim to the virus.

In a frantic attempt to manage the crisis, a dedicated unit of Marines, known as the “Z” Squad, is assigned to obliterate the zombie hordes that have emerged within the facility. Chaos reigns as one of the Marines, Byrdflough, succumbs to a zombie bite yet manages to escape. Upon reaching a shadowy alley near the infamous underground strip club Rhino, he swiftly deteriorates into a reanimated corpse, irresistibly drawn to the club’s neon glow.

At the center of this chaos is Ian Essko, an astute entrepreneur who has constructed his empire upon the talent and beauty of strippers. Among his performers is Jessy, a bright-eyed newcomer eager to earn enough for her grandmother’s necessary surgery. Amid her trials, Jessy encounters Kat, the reigning queen of the club, known for her enchanting dance moves. As Kat captivates the audience, she becomes a tragic victim of Byrdflough’s undead attack. In a desperate bid to retain his star performer, Essko allows Kat to rise again, but as a zombie. This transformation paradoxically releases Kat’s true ferocity, enthralling the clubgoers in an electrifying display that melds beauty with horror.

As time elapses, Rhino teeters on the brink of disaster, transitioning from a vibrant venue to one dominated by undead strippers, throwing the original talent into uncertainty. The allure of the zombie world proves irresistible for some human performers, who either choose transformation or stumble into this bizarre new lifestyle. Lillith, a goth-rock aficionado, exemplifies this trend, forsaking her previous charm for a reanimated appeal that captivates her audience.

In a desperate bid to regain control, Essko confines the growing zombie colony to an underground cellar. Yet, his plans go awry when Gaia, driven by morbid curiosity, releases the undead pack. This unleashes a frenzy as the club is overrun by zombies, prompting a fierce rivalry between Kat and underdog stripper Jeannie amid the pandemonium.

As the remnant of humanity struggles on, a formidable new threat rises in the form of the “Z” Squad, heavily armed and intent on exterminating the zombie menace. However, their investigation unveils a far more chilling reality: a calculated scheme by the Bush Administration to inflict a zombie epidemic upon the unsuspecting populace, serving as a diversion from their catastrophic failures in both warfare and the economy.
