In the charming yet eerie town of Smithville, Texas, a man named Vaughn Ely conceals a dark secret behind his amicable exterior. However, his life spirals into chaos when he uncovers the shocking truth that his wife, Rosemary, has been engaging in a sordid affair with David Moore, the spouse of her former high school English teacher. Consumed by feelings of betrayal and rage, Vaughn exacts a dreadful revenge, murdering Rosemary and keeping her corpse housed within his home, treating her as if she were still alive.
