Armand Douglas Hammer, popularly known as Armie Hammer, is a renowned American actor who started his career with guest roles in several television series. His first breakthrough came when he portrayed Billy Graham in the 2008 film 'Billy: The Early Years'. He further gained recognition for his performance in 'The Social Network', a biopic by David Fincher where he played the twins Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss. His performance in this film earned him the Toronto Film Critics Association Award for Best Supporting Actor. He continued to star in prominent roles such as in the western 'The Lone Ranger', the action film 'The Man from U.N.C.L.E.', and the romantic drama 'Call Me by Your Name', which fetched him a Golden Globe nomination. Hammer’s career was significantly affected when he faced allegations of abuse in 2021. Though Hammer denied these allegations, he had to withdraw from several upcoming projects and was subsequently dropped by his talent agency and publicist.
