Dave Bautista

David Michael Bautista Jr, known as Dave Bautista, is an American actor and retired professional wrestler. He rose to fame for his multiple stints in WWE between 2002 and 2019, regarded as one of the most prolific professional wrestlers of all time. Bautista began his wrestling career in 1999 and signed with WWE (then WWF) in 2000. His wrestling prowess saw him gaining numerous championships and making significant contributions to the wrestling industry. He retired from professional wrestling after WrestleMania 35 in 2019. As an actor, Bautista has starred in various films, including 'The Man with the Iron Fists', 'Riddick', 'Guardians of the Galaxy' where he played Drax the Destroyer, the James Bond film 'Spectre', 'Blade Runner 2049', 'My Spy', 'Army of the Dead', and 'Dune'. Prior to his wrestling and acting careers, he lived in poverty and had a hard life, which included exposure to violent crime at an early age.

Bautista also had a brief stint as a mixed martial artist in 2012. Additionally, he is known for his philanthropy work, primarily in Ovarian Cancer Research due to his first wife's battle with the disease. Bautista became a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Cesar Gracie and even had an action figure made in his likeness during his wrestling career.
