**Keegan-Michael Key** (born March 22, 1971) is an American actor, comedian, producer, and writer. Recognized for his versatility and talent, he has co-created and co-starred in the sketch series Key & Peele (2012-2015), earning one Primetime Emmy Award among ten nominations. Key's vast experience also includes a notable stint in the sketch series Mad TV (2004-2009), the sitcom Playing House (2014-2017), the comedy series Friends from College (2017-2019), and the series Reboot (2022). He is renowned for his ability to switch between comedy and drama and has demonstrated this in various mediums, from television to film to stage performances. Furthermore, he has had supporting roles in several films and provided voice work in multiple animation films. Keegan-Michael Key's career trajectory has been remarkable, from his beginnings in Mad TV and Key & Peele to his Broadway debut in the play 'Meteor Shower' in 2017. Besides his on-screen work, he also achieved recognition at the White House Correspondents' Dinner in 2015, where he appeared as the character Luther, President Barack Obama's anger translator.
