Kellan Christopher Lutz is an American actor and model known for his diversity of roles that span action thrillers, animated features, and action-adventure films. Born on March 15, 1985, in Dickinson, North Dakota, he made his film debut in Stick It (2006) and has since played notable characters such as Emmett Cullen in The Twilight Saga film series (2008–2012), Poseidon in the 2011 film Immortals, the title character in the 2013 animated film Tarzan, John Smilee in The Expendables 3 (2014), and Hercules in The Legend of Hercules (2014). As a mainstay of Hollywood, he also co-starred in the CBS action thriller series FBI: Most Wanted (2020–2021).

He began his career with recurring roles in Model Citizens (2004) and The Comeback (2005), and smaller roles in series like The Bold and the Beautiful, Six Feet Under, and Heroes among others. Lutz's talent emerged further when he portrayed Emmett Cullen in the Twilight series. This marked a turning point in his career, and he reprised this role throughout the Twilight saga. Besides, he has featured in many other remarkable roles like Poseidon, God of the Sea in Immortals (2011), George Evans in 90210 spinoff (2009), and in the film A Warrior's Heart (2011). Although he missed out on the lead role in Conan the Barbarian (2011), it didn't stall his career as he continued to establish his craft in other huge movies.
