**Matthew Broderick** is a prolific American actor, born on March 21, 1962 in New York City. Notably, he is acclaimed for roles such as the Golden Globe-nominated portrayal of the title character in _Ferris Bueller's Day Off_ (1986), the voice of adult Simba in Disney's _The Lion King_ (1994), and Leo Bloom in both the Broadway musical _The Producers_ and its 2005 film adaptation.
