Rob Schneider is an American actor, comedian, screenwriter, and antivaccine activist. Born Robert Michael Schneider on October 31, 1963, he started his career performing stand-up comedy before achieving more prominent success as a cast member and writer on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live, earning him three Primetime Emmy Award nominations. After leaving SNL, Schneider starred in several feature films including Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo and its sequel, The Animal, The Hot Chick, The Benchwarmers, and Big Stan. Apart from his acting career, Schneider has famously espoused controversial views on childhood vaccinations and has actively opposed certain California laws. He has also participated in other ventures such as his first comedy album Registered Offender and an international comedy tour.
