Stefan Kapicic

**Stefan Kapičić** (Serbian Cyrillic: Стефан Капичић), born on 1 December 1978, is a Serbian actor recognized for his role as Colossus in the Deadpool series. Notably, he portrayed the character in Deadpool (2016), Deadpool 2 (2018), as well as Deadpool & Wolverine (2024). In addition to his acting career, Kapičić holds an influential role within the Montenegrin film industry as one of three members of the Council for Film Industry of Montenegro. During his early years, Kapičić fostered a deep fascination for comics, spurred on by his grandfather Jovo Kapičić, a love he later attributed as crucial to his role in Deadpool. Kapičić's education background includes studying acting at the esteemed University of Belgrade. Comfortably multilingual, he grasps Serbian, English, German and Russian. Steering towards his professional career, Kapičić holds an impressive portfolio in television, film, and theater, with over 80 roles to his credit by 2015. His portrayal of Colossus involved an extensive and secret casting process involving multiple auditions with first-time director Tim Miller and required a combination of voice work and motion capture for the larger-than-life character. In a testament to his versatility, Kapičić portrayed his own father, a retired basketball player, in the 2015 film Bićemo prvaci sveta. His acting prowess extended beyond the Deadpool series, with notable appearances including a role as Olgaren in The Last Voyage of the Demeter in 2023.
