Taraji P. Henson

**Taraji Penda Henson** (born September 11, 1970) is a celebrated American actress who has made significant contributions to the movie industry. She has received prestigious accolades including a Golden Globe Award and has been nominated for an Academy Award, a Tony Award, and six Emmy Awards. Time magazine recognized Henson as one of the 100 most influential people globally in 2016 and 2024. Henson's acting journey began with her education at Howard University, leading to her film debut in the crime film *Streetwise* (1998).
