Topher Grace

**Topher Grace**, originally named Christopher John Grace, is an American actor who has made a significant mark in Hollywood. He was born July 12, 1978, in New York City. He is most known for his portrayal of Eric Forman in the teen sitcom *That '70s Show* (1998–2005) and the character Eddie Brock / Venom in Sam Raimi's superhero film *Spider-Man 3* (2007). Grace has also held prominent roles in the crime drama *Traffic* (2000), drama *Mona Lisa Smile* (2003), romantic comedies like *Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!* and *In Good Company* (2004) and the iconic *Valentine's Day* (2010), and the action film *Predators* (2010). The years of 2021 to 2023 saw him taking the lead in the ABC comedy series *Home Economics*. Furthermore, he's shown versatility with supporting roles in the science fiction film *Interstellar* (2014) and crime drama *BlacKkKlansman* (2018). Topher Grace's early life was rooted in New York City, where he was born and raised. His mother, Pat, was an assistant to the schoolmaster of the New Canaan Country School, and his father, John Grace, worked as a Madison Avenue executive. He grew up in Darien, Connecticut, where he formed friendships with future actresses Kate Bosworth and Chloë Sevigny. Grace's acting career began with *That '70s Show* in Fox that lead to numerous roles in the film industry. Grace was a fan of the comics, which is probably preeminent as he essayed the role of Eddie Brock/Venom in *Spider-Man 3*. He also had a significant role in the spy thriller *The Double* and social film *The Beauty Inside*. In recent years, he starred in HBO comedy pilot *People in New Jersey*, *American Ultra* (2015), and supernatural-thriller *Delirium* in 2018.
