**Richard Treat Williams Jr.**, known as **Treat Williams**, was an acclaimed American actor whose remarkably diverse career spanned over five decades on stage, film, and television. He gained prominence with his role as Danny Zuko in the original Broadway run of Grease (1972). After gaining fame in significant roles in commercial successes like Hair (1979) and 1941 (1979), Williams received further recognition for his acclaimed performance in the Sidney Lumet crime drama Prince of the City (1981).
