Vincent Anthony Vaughn, known as Vince Vaughn, is an accomplished American actor and comedian. Born on March 28, 1970, Vaughn is celebrated for his lead roles in numerous comedy films throughout the late 1990s and 2000s. He made his acting debut in the sports drama film Rudy (1993) and rose to fame following his performance in the comedy, Swingers (1996). Vince starred in numerous successful comedies such as Old School (2003), Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story (2004), and Wedding Crashers (2005). In addition to his comedic endeavors, he is also known for his dramatic roles, including Nick Van Owen in Jurassic Park: The Lost World (1997) and Norman Bates in Psycho (1998). His television credits include starring as career criminal Frank Semyon in the second season of HBO's True Detective (2015) and cameo appearances in Netflix's F Is for Family (2018) and HBO's comedy series Curb Your Enthusiasm (2020–2024). In his early life, Vaughn lived in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, until he was eight years old and graduated from Lake Forest High School in 1988. He pursued acting in his youth, attributing his career choice to his mother's inspiration. Starting his career in 1988, Vaughn transitioned from commercials to film roles, gaining recognition with projects like Swingers with Favreau and Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park. Moving onto numerous successful comedic and dramatic films, he established himself as a versatile performer. In his personal life, he married Canadian realtor Kyla Weber in 2010 and they have two children.
