Will Patton

**William Rankin Patton**, known professionally as **Will Patton**, is an acclaimed American actor born on June 14, 1954. He has made significant contributions to the film and television industry since the start of his career in 1981. Patton has starred in prominent roles in a broad range of films - from *The Client* (1994) and *Armageddon* (1998) to *American Honey* (2016) and *Minari* (2020). Notable in his career, Patton worked opposite Kevin Costner in four films and played a guest role in **Yellowstone** (2020–2022), a Paramount Network series. He has also experienced success in theater, earning two **Obie Awards** for his performances in Sam Shepard's *Fool for Love* and the Public Theater's *What Did He See?*. Patton's early life in Charleston, South Carolina influenced his path, with his playwright and acting/directing instructor father being a significant figure in shaping his career.
