Zachary Michael Gilford, known in the acting world as Zach Gilford, was born on January 14, 1982. An American actor, his popularity is largely owed to his role as Matt Saracen in the NBC sports drama series *Friday Night Lights*. In recent years, he has dabbled in darker themes, featuring in the Netflix horror limited series *Midnight Mass* in 2021 and the horror mystery-thriller series *The Midnight Club* in 2022. A year later, in 2023, he assumed a main role in the horror drama miniseries *The Fall of the House of Usher*.
