Kevin Kevin Covais is a high school senior who has just been dumped by his girlfriend Gina for being too boring. To prove he can still be interesting, his best friends Carter and Morris urge him to join them on a freshman orientation weekend at Fieldmont University, a plan spurred by their friend Fletcher’s story about a college weekend where he ended up with three different girls despite learning a few hard lessons along the way.
Upon arrival, the trio discovers the weekend could be far from ordinary. Rather than a quiet dorm stay with a typical roommate, they encounter the campus’ rowdiest fraternity, currently on probation, which pretends to recruit them in exchange for access to the college party scene. Their path crosses with sorority girls Kendall, Heather, and Amy, and sparks begin to fly. But Teague, who once dated Kendall, grows threatened by Kevin’s budding relationship with her, and escalates the pre-frosh humiliation into something much harsher that targets the trio.
The weekend spirals into a string of outrageous episodes: the fraternity steals their parents’ credit cards and maxes them out, and they even hire Verne Troyer to make an appearance. Morris drinks to excess and, during a roadside encounter with Dean Chandler, ends up puking on the dean’s car windshield, jeopardizing his scholarship. Realizing that their parents funded the frat’s party, Kevin and Carter press for more alcohol, only for Teague to reveal that the three are actually high school students, which compounds their humiliation and danger.
The situation worsens when the brothers kidnap the boys and haul them to a secluded farm, tying them up and leaving them in the presence of farm animals. The trio eventually escapes, but the ordeal drives a wedge between them, sending them on diverging paths. Still, they decide to retaliate and reclaim their weekend, planning to get payback for the damage done to their chances at Fieldmont.
In the climax, Teague ends up in trouble with the police, his car is vandalized, Bearcat is superglued to a toilet, and Cooper is duct-taped to a naked statue. Kevin makes amends with Kendall, and after sending Gina a video of his new party antics at Fieldmont, she asks to reconcile, though he declines. Kevin then shares news of a fresh college weekend they could pursue, while Morris faces parental punishment for jeopardizing his scholarship but contemplates sneaking out. With renewed resolve, the three friends decide to go on the new weekend adventure together.
