The film follows the journey of Commando Karanveer Singh Dogra, portrayed by Vidyut Jamwal, a highly trained commando adept in survival tactics, various weaponry, and lethal hand-to-hand combat. His crucial mission is geared towards eliminating black money that has illicitly flowed into foreign banks. Partnering with him in this dangerous undertaking are Insp. Bhavna Reddy played by Adah Sharma, ACP Bakthawar portrayed by Freddy Daruwala, and Zafar.
The narrative centers around Vicky Chadda, deemed the prime black money dealer in India. Karan relentlessly pursues Vicky, taking down his operatives one by one. His superior, Adil Hussain, the commander of a specialized cell designed to combat black money, informs Karan that Vicky has been apprehended in Malaysia, but urges him to keep this information confidential.
Indian Home Minister Leena Chowdhury, portrayed by Shefali Shah, vigorously supports the war against black money. Ironically, her own son Dishank Chowdhury, played by Suhail Nayyar, is entangled in laundering operations for wealthy elites. Dishank fears that if Vicky returns to India, their entire scheme will unravel, exposing him and perhaps forcing him to take drastic actions.
In a sinister plot, Leena and Dishank plan to deploy a specialized team to bring Vicky back. Unbeknownst to them, Karan has covertly monitored their conversations and their scheme. The tactical team comprises ACP Bakthawar (a favored politician), Bhavna Reddy (an encounter specialist), Zafar (a cyber specialist), and Sharad Pandey, a close confidant to Leena and a police operative. Their official directive from Leena is to transport Vicky to Tihar Jail to extract critical details regarding his hidden account, after which an orchestrated prison riot will lead to Vicky’s demise on the way to the hospital.
Karan infiltrates this operation by coercing Sharad into a health crisis that leads him to the hospital, thus allowing Karan to take his place. Upon reaching the Malaysian safe house, the team encounters Vicky and his wife Maria, played by Esha Gupta. Vicky maintains his innocence, but the orders are strict against interrogating him—he must be swiftly returned to India. In a twist, Maria discreetly confides in Karan, revealing Vicky’s tragic past of being coerced into the criminal world after his father was kidnapped, leading to his family’s devastating losses.
Karan, compelled by Maria’s story, investigates further and finds her claims corroborated. When their group comes under attack en route to the airport, Karan persuades Bakhtawar to divert their course to Thailand, where Vicky claims to have hidden his fortune. However, a power struggle ensues, and Karan is forced to shoot Bakhtawar, albeit non-fatal, to facilitate their escape.
In a shocking turn of events, Maria unveils herself as the true Vicky, eliminating the impersonator. She makes her exit, even disposing of Zafar in the process. Determined to prevent Vicky access to her concealed wealth, Karan and Bhavna take action; however, they find themselves pursued by Bakhtawar and his team. After cornering Vicky, a tense confrontation occurs where Bakhtawar strikes a deal with her to facilitate her escape for a share of the proceeds.
As the tension mounts, a cat-and-mouse chase unfolds, with Karan intensifying his pursuit while Vicky systematically removes any individuals connected to him. To cement her security, Karan pretends he and Bhavna have been captured and deported, creating a false sense of safety for Vicky.
Through clever strategy and manipulation, Karan traces a hacker tied to Vicky’s network, exposing her clandestine actions aimed at transferring wealth using the accounts of deceased individuals with dormant bank accounts. In a nail-biting climax at the bank locker, amidst a crowd of lookalike operatives, Karan manages to unearth the laptop vital for Vicky’s operation. But as he races against time, he faces betrayal as Bakhtawar interferes, enabling Vicky’s plan to succeed—except through Karan’s foresight, it becomes a ruse that flips the outcome entirely.
Ultimately, the plot culminates in a shocking twist: Vicky’s supposed embezzlement not only was foiled but was rather channeled into the accounts of millions of impoverished Indian farmers, thanks to Karan’s earlier adjustments to the hacker’s plan. This intricate scheme further reveals collusion with Leena, showcasing a masterful narrative of deception and justice. The final confrontation sees Bhavna avenge the death of Zafar by eliminating Vicky, bringing a whirlwind of chaos to a close.
