They firmly believe that quokkas should be perceived as cute and cuddly, steering Daisy towards becoming the new face of Quokka Rocks instead.

In compliance with her parents’ wishes, Daisy embarks on a ferry trip to Sanctuary City, tasked with promoting the island’s tourism by taking photos with visitors. Upon her arrival, after struggling to haul her stand up a steep hill—a nod to a scene reminiscent of Kung Fu Panda—Daisy arrives at the WSG arena, only to discover that the qualifying rounds are set to commence the following day. Here, she encounters Ronda Saltie, a formidable female crocodile and top contender for the WSG tournament, who cruelly mocks Daisy’s aspiration to compete, declaring that the quokka would need a coach willing to train her.

Later that evening, after a day of taking pictures, Daisy’s stand is stolen by a gang of drop bears. During the chase to reclaim it, she ventures into the wilderness and meets a grumpy old crocodile—who turns out to be Frankie Scales, now a reclusive figure barely remembered. Frankie’s past was once vibrant, marked by triumph until a fateful day during the Fire Isles Finale of the WSG.
