Intrigo: Death of an Author 2020

A solitary sailor battles turbulent waters, only to have his wrecked vessel discovered farther south. In Stockholm, a translator receives a cryptic manuscript from reclusive author Germund Rein, whose mysterious death has shrouded the book's existence. As David delves into the novel, he uncovers parallels to his own troubled past, including the disappearance of his wife Ewa. But nothing is as it seems, and the lines between reality and fiction blur, leading David toward a dark truth that threatens to consume him.
