In a life filled with uncertainty, Leslie finds herself at a precarious juncture, grappling with the distressing possibility of losing essential benefits because her husband remains stationed in Iraq for an extended period. The burden of care falls squarely on her shoulders, as she juggles the needs of her two lively sons, Cameron and Lincoln, who constantly seek her attention and affection.

Just when things seem overwhelming, Salman, her brother-in-law, makes an unexpected entrance into their lives, moving in without warning under the pretext of helping out with the kids. While navigating the absurdities of his new job, Salman encounters a cast of quirky individuals, including a group of perplexed farmers who show little interest in the office space he’s advertising. Moreover, the Kabluey outfit draws the ire of a volatile woman determined to cause chaos, forcing Salman to confront not just his circumstances but also the fragility of life itself.

Amidst the ridiculousness of his situation, Salman gradually starts to find a sense of confidence and direction, bringing unanticipated joy to Cameron and Lincoln during a birthday party appearance.
