My One and Only

As the sun-kissed streets of New York City fade into the rearview mirror, the unmistakable silhouette of a baby-blue '53 Cadillac Coupe de Ville convertible glides effortlessly down the highway, its occupants lost in their own thoughts. At the helm is Ann Devereaux (Renée Zellweger), a ravishing yet enigmatic woman who has just bid adieu to her philandering husband Dan Devereaux (Kevin Bacon), a society bandleader, and embarked on an open-road adventure with her two teenage sons, George (Logan Lerman) and Robbie (Mark Rendall). With the intention of replacing her departed provider, Ann sets out to find a wealthy suitor willing to support her and her family.

As they traverse the East Coast, Ann's youthful charm and unyielding optimism initially propel their journey forward. Her sons, however, are forced to confront the harsh realities of their situation, with George, an aspiring writer, serving as the voice of reason amidst his mother's impulsive decisions and Robbie, a flamboyant free spirit, fueling the family's eccentricity.
