What do Mimi and Luke discover in their backyard?

Plot Summary

In the midst of a tranquil suburban evening, siblings Mimi and Luke (no last names provided) uncover an enigmatic, radiant gem while digging in their backyard. Little do they know, this peculiar discovery will unravel a tangled web of intergalactic intrigue. That same night, a monstrous alien entity emerges from the earth, its malevolent presence marked by brutal slaughter at an abandoned shoe factory. The next day, Mimi and Luke trail the creature to the decrepit building, where they encounter its imposing figure - the notorious Arch-Duke of Nightmares, a formidable warrior imprisoned on Earth after wreaking havoc across the galaxy.

As the siblings confront this extraterrestrial behemoth, it becomes apparent that Mimi has inadvertently acquired a powerful gemstone, granting her dominion over the alien. With calculated precision, she dubs him Psycho Goreman (PG for short) and proceeds to command him, much to Luke’s growing unease. PG reveals his tumultuous past as a slave under the Templars on his home planet of Gigax, until he discovered the gem, which bonded with him, imbuing him with immense power.

As a rebellious force, PG assembled an army called the Paladins Obsidian and embarked on a catastrophic rampage across the galaxy, only to be defeated by the Planetary Alliance and imprisoned on Earth. When the children depart, PG broadcasts a distress call to his former allies, signaling the start of a new chapter in this intergalactic saga.

As Mimi’s control over PG solidifies, she introduces him to her parents, Susan and Greg (no last names provided), showcasing the gem’s extraordinary abilities. With PG in tow, the family embarks on various activities, with the alien becoming an unlikely companion and reluctant friend.

Their tranquil existence is disrupted when two police officers attack PG, prompting him to transform one of them into a grotesque slave. As chaos ensues, Pandora, a formidable warrior from the Planetary Alliance, arrives at the police station, interrogating the surviving officer for information on PG’s whereabouts. Meanwhile, in the woods, the Paladins Obsidian reappear, revealing their allegiance to the Templars and assaulting PG.

As Mimi pleas with her reluctant friend to stand down, PG is gravely injured by his former comrades. With a mix of remorse and apology, he apologizes for his past actions and ultimately dispatches the Paladins. As the dust settles, PG collapses from his injuries, marking the end of this eventful chapter in the ongoing saga of Psycho Goreman and Mimi’s extraordinary bond.

As a sudden and inexplicable vision materializes before Greg’s eyes, the spectral figure of PG implores him to retrieve himself and the children from the woods. Greg obliges, returning with Pandora awaiting at the doorstep alongside Susan. A proposal is put forth by Susan: surrender PG to Pandora, an idea Luke agrees upon. However, Greg’s allegiances lie with Mimi as they make their escape in the shoe factory, hiding from Pandora’s true form and her subsequent transformation of Susan into a formidable warrior.

PG, now desperate for healing, reveals that only the gem can restore his vitality; however, Mimi is persuaded by PG’s promise to spare her family and herself in his crusade against the galaxy. But, unbeknownst to Mimi, Luke has secretly pilfered the gem. This development sets the stage for an intense confrontation as Pandora, Susan, and Luke converge on Greg, Mimi, and PG.

The ensuing battle is marked by chaos as Luke attempts to sway Mimi away from her allies, exploiting the perceived corruption wrought by the gem’s power and PG’s influence. Just as Pandora prepares to deliver the final blow to PG, he proposes a challenge in the form of Crazy Ball, a game Mimi and Luke had concocted with intricate rules.

As Mimi’s team emerges victorious, Pandora ignores the outcome and attacks PG nonetheless. Susan intervenes, using her abilities to save Mimi, but is subsequently returned to her human form by Pandora. Amidst the turmoil, Luke and Mimi reconcile, ultimately deciding to hand the gem over to PG, which restores his health.

Empowered by love, PG vanquishes Pandora and devours her essence. The now-love-powered entity returns the powerless gem to Mimi, declaring that having witnessed the family’s unwavering affection for one another has transformed him. He vows to utilize this newfound energy to destroy the galaxy but promises to spare his newfound friends.

As the family bids farewell to PG, they bear witness to their town being ravaged by his colossal form. The news broadcasts a grim reality: PG’s rampage across Earth, and in deep space, the Planetary Alliance deliberates on their own mortality as they await PG’s inevitable arrival.
