As Jennifer Remming (Jenn) embarked on a romantic ocean excursion with her boyfriend Lucas Griffin, Mia Reed, and strangers Brad and Zach, little did she anticipate the harrowing adventure that lay ahead. The group’s boat was ravaged by a tempestuous storm, leaving Jenn stranded on a desolate island after washing ashore. Her anguish deepened when Brad succumbed to his wounds, and she was forced to inter him, only to discover his grave had been disturbed the following morning. As if the trauma wasn’t enough, Jenn’s daily routine became a desperate bid for survival.

While swimming in the turbulent waters, Jenn stumbled upon an unsettling sight - a seemingly bottomless black hole lurking on the ocean floor mere feet from the shore. Her alarm grew when she fired a flare during a nocturnal flight overhead, but it was too late to alert any potential rescuers; instead, she illuminated a monstrous creature lurking in the sea. In her bid for safety, Jenn sought refuge within a hollow log, only to have the beast assault her makeshift sanctuary at dawn’s break.

As the days passed, Jenn became increasingly desperate, resorting to using a caught shark as bait to lure the creature, though it merely tore the meat from the rope and vanished into the depths. The arrival of Lucas and Mia in a raft brought momentary solace, but Jenn’s warnings about the amphibious monster that dragged its prey back to a hole in the ocean fell on deaf ears.
