In the not-so-distant future of 2080, the Moon has transformed into a bustling center for commerce and entertainment, with the lively colony of Little America at its heart. Enter Pluto Nash, a former smuggler turned ambitious entrepreneur, portrayed by Eddie Murphy. Driven by a desire to fulfill his long-standing dream, Pluto endeavors to purchase a nightclub, hoping to resurrect a cherished vision while saving his old friend, Anthony Frankowski. With the support of his loyal accomplice, Miguel, and the innovative android Bruno, Pluto successfully rejuvenates the venue into a premier destination for revelry.

As the years roll on to 2087, Little America flourishes, becoming an even more vibrant tapestry of culture and trade. In this dynamic setting, a spirited young woman named Dina Lake, played by Jay Mohr, finds herself stranded on the lunar surface, desperately seeking a way to escape. Recognizing her plight, Pluto extends a helping hand, offering her a job as a server at his beloved nightclub.

However, tranquility is short-lived for Pluto, as he soon faces off against merciless henchmen employed by the enigmatic entrepreneur Rex Crater. When Pluto firmly refuses to surrender his club, Crater’s thugs resort to violent tactics, leaving the nightclub in ruins. By a stroke of luck, Pluto, Dina, and Bruno manage to escape the catastrophe.

As the duo plunges deeper into the mystery of Crater’s hidden motives, they stumble upon a sinister scheme involving human cloning that connects back to Crater. Their investigation thrusts them directly into the line of fire from Crater’s ruthless assassins, forcing them to stay one step ahead. In a thrilling twist, they commandeer a limousine piloted by a holographic chauffeur named James, cleverly evading danger along the way.

With every brick turned, Pluto and Dina discover ties involving Michael “Mike” Zoroaster Marucci and the shady Rex Crater. Just when it seems they’ve evaded imminent danger, the relentless henchmen corner them again, but fate shines upon them as they are rescued by Felix Laranga, a local smuggler who looks up to Pluto.

Unfazed, Pluto and Dina boldly infiltrate the opulent casino/hotel at Moon Beach, the very epicenter of Crater’s underhanded dealings. There, they finally confront the mastermind behind their troubles: Rex Crater, shockingly revealed to be a clone of Pluto Nash himself. In a chilling twist, Crater — consumed by ambition — had previously sent both Marucci and Dr. Runa Pendankin into space, paving the way for his nefarious empire.

As the tension escalates with the arrival of lawmen Mogan and Kelp, Crater ruthlessly dispatches them for their failures. An epic confrontation brews between Pluto and his doppelganger, culminating in a stunning showdown that seals Crater’s fate in a dazzling lunar explosion.

Years after these harrowing events, Club Pluto stands as the premier nightlife destination in Little America, having undergone a splendid renovation. In a surprising turn of events, Dina steps into the spotlight as a remarkable singer, with none other than Pluto Nash, the club’s once-again proud owner, backing her talents.
