The Bag Man 2014

In a peculiar arrangement, elderly gangster Robert Dragna (Robert Dragna) instructs professional killer Jack to retrieve a mysterious package and wait for his arrival at a motel. The task seems straightforward: simply pick up the bag and keep it under wraps until Dragna arrives. However, when Jack presses Dragna for more information, the latter’s responses are evasive, leaving the killer bewildered by the lack of clarity. To make matters worse, when Jack does acquire the package, he is met with a sudden and unprovoked attack from one of Dragna’s henchmen, which results in the assassin killing his assailant and stashing the body in the trunk of his car.

Upon arriving at the motel, Jack encounters an assortment of eccentric characters, including Ned, a desk clerk confined to a wheelchair; Rivka, a statuesque prostitute with an air of mystery surrounding her; and Lizard and Guano, two bald men perpetually agitated about something. When Jack requests room 13, Ned cautions him about the notorious deathtrap status of this particular room, which is disconnected from all others. Undeterred, Jack presses on, only to be driven by a sudden, unexplained impulse to burst into the room of two unsuspecting suited men and eliminate them without provocation.

A subsequent search yields an unexpected surprise: FBI badges and a briefcase. As Jack’s anxiety grows, he becomes increasingly paranoid about the contents of the package, which could potentially incriminate him. His initial plan to dispose of the bodies in his car goes awry when Rivka discovers the corpses, sparking her growing unease.
