Jamie is an ordinary man living a seemingly typical life, balancing a mundane job with the responsibilities of fatherhood. One morning, he drops off his daughter with a babysitter, presenting an image of carefree innocence akin to a child playing in a park. Little do those around him know, Jamie has devised a plan to join a gang of ex-marines in a daring bank heist. Among the crew is his own brother, Mic Sheridan, whose intimidating demeanor is marked by a bald head and piercing eyes, starkly contrasting with Jamie’s mild appearance.

While Jamie tries to project a normal life, he conceals a darker side, as he is deeply committed to his girlfriend, Ava, and aims to provide for their family, especially since their daughter is in dire need of surgery. In secret, Jamie has been donating a significant amount through a crowdfunding platform to help cover the medical costs. Ava, fully aware of Jamie’s illicit plans, still clings to hope that he will abandon his criminal ways. Ironically, Ava works at the bank targeted for the robbery.

The heist unfolds precisely as planned; the crew, fully equipped and prepared, storms the bank in search of a staggering $3 million. However, they soon discover that law enforcement is already poised to intervene outside. An additional survivor from the crew faces grave injuries, while tragically, six officers also lose their lives in the chaos.

Fueled by rage, Mic is determined to track down the traitor who disclosed their plans to the police. He believes the authorities were tipped off beforehand, which explains the rapid response from the FBI. Mic shows no remorse for the fallen officers, convinced that they had come to inflict harm rather than uphold the law. In stark contrast, Jamie is primarily concerned with locating the double-crosser while fearing the repercussions of their actions as fugitives.

Now, in a race against time, the brothers know they need to find medical assistance for their injured accomplice while simultaneously strategizing their escape. Enter Special Agent Frank Ross, tasked with capturing the cop killers still on the loose. With the situation becoming increasingly dire, Jamie, whose thoughts are consumed with his family’s safety, depends on quick and intelligent decisions to navigate this perilous scenario.

Agent Ross begins his investigation by speaking to bank employees, including Ava, aiming to uncover vital information. As the bank is relatively small, he probes into why such a hefty sum lay within the vault. Assistance comes from Agent Mike Hays and Lt. Bauer, who bring up a tip received from a Vice officer regarding a man named Edwin Smalls. Smalls, who provided crucial details about the bank’s cybersecurity, ends up revealing that the information was coerced under threats from the brothers. His descriptions make it easy for Agent Ross to identify Jamie and Mic, drawing them closer to capture.

In a twist, Agent Ross finds Jamie’s locket amid the wreckage, which leads him to believe in Jamie’s innocence. As the investigation progresses, Ava becomes a significant player, holding the last pieces of the puzzle.
