During this time, a chilling news report surfaces about a satellite that has been destroyed by an unidentified object over Canada.

To celebrate his best friend Joe’s 30th birthday, Matt and Jessica decide to escape to a remote cabin nestled in Gracefield, Quebec. Joining them are Joe’s girlfriend, Liz Blackburn, Matt’s Bigfoot-enthusiast boss, and Jessica’s younger brother Trey Myers, along with Trey’s girlfriend, Julia Gilbert. As they settle in for what should be a relaxing getaway, a mysterious streaking light is spotted overhead on the very first night.
