Jane Krakowski is an accomplished American actress who has worked in both television and the theatrical stage. She gained renown for her roles in the NBC comedy series 30 Rock (2006–2013, 2020), playing the character Jenna Maroney, and has received four Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Other notable roles include Elaine Vassal in the Fox legal comedy-drama series Ally McBeal (1997–2002) and Jacqueline White in the Netflix comedy series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (2015–2020), the latter earning her another Primetime Emmy Award nomination. Beyond television, Krakowski is a trained singer and stage actress. She won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for the revival of Nine (2003). Other Tony-nominated performances include roles in Broadway productions such as Grand Hotel (1989) and She Loves Me (2016).

Born and raised in Parsippany, New Jersey, Krakowski grew up in a family deeply immersed in theatre. She started her career with a television commercial in 1981, followed by her major role and feature film debut at the age of 14 in the 1983 comedy National Lampoon's Vacation. Over her career, she has been praised for both her comedic talent and singing abilities, having also collaborated with Jim Brickman on the song 'You' for Brickman's 2002 album Love Songs & Lullabies. Her personal life has seen her engage and have a son with Robert Godley, although the couple separated in 2013. Notably, she hosted a Fox reboot of the 1950s gameshow Name That Tune, starting in 2021.
