Louis Mandylor

**Louis Mandylor** (born Elias Theodosopoulos; 13 September 1966) is a talented and noted Australian film and television actor, majorly recognized for his role as Nick Portokalos in the famed _My Big Fat Greek Wedding_ franchise (2002-2023). Born to Greek immigrants, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, Mandylor followed a unique path to fame. This included a stint in his early years playing for Heidelberg United FC (Megas Alexandros) in their 1988 State League championship team, scoring one goal in five National League games in 1989. Not limited to the football field, he also held an impressive boxing record in Melbourne with 14 wins and 4 losses. Envisaging a bigger dream, he emigrated to the United States, originally to pursue a boxing career, before ultimately finding his calling in acting. Mandylor's acting journey brought him many interesting roles aside from his signature character, Nick Portokalos. Notable among these includes the role of Louis Malone in the first season of _Martial Law_ alongside Sammo Hung, several guest appearances, such as on _Relic Hunter_ with Tia Carrere, and even a stint on the iconic sitcom _Friends_ where he played a character pretending to be Joey's twin 'The One With Unagi'. Furthermore, he has had the chance to perform with his brother, fellow actor Costas Mandylor, in works like the _Charmed_ episode 'Saving Private Leo' (2002), the crime thriller _Sinners and Saints_ (2010) and 'My Brother Cicero' (1998), a short movie which Louis wrote and produced.
