Seann William Scott

**Seann William Scott**, born October 3, 1976, is an American actor best known for his role as Steve Stifler in the 'American Pie' film series. Over his career, his films have earned a collective $4.91 billion at the global box office. However, Scott's credentials extend past the 'American Pie' series into roles such as Doug Glatt in both 'Goon' and its sequel 'Last of the Enforcers'. His other notable lead film credits include 'Dude, Where's My Car?', 'Road Trip', 'Evolution', 'The Rundown', 'The Dukes of Hazzard', 'Mr. Woodcock', 'Role Models', and 'The Wrath of Becky'. On top of these leading roles, Scott also had a supporting voice role as Crash in the 'Ice Age' film series. Scott was a staple on Fox's 'Lethal Weapon' and 'Welcome to Flatch'. Born and raised in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, Scott has a strong background in acting, having attended the University of Wisconsin and Glendale Community College. He relocated to Los Angeles to pursue acting in earnest. Continuing his early career, Scott worked at The Home Depot and the Los Angeles Zoo to support himself between his acting jobs. He began by appearing in several television commercials. He made his first on-screen appearance as Moondoggie on The WB's sitcom 'Unhappily Ever After'. This led to his breakthrough with the 'American Pie' films. He has since made a name for himself through various different roles such as the hapless nerd in 'Final Destination', the friendly stoner 'Dude, Where's My Car?' and numerous other diverse characters. Continuing into more serious roles, he portrayed Ted Morgan in 'Just Before I Go'. Scott has a knack for comedic and serious characters and was praised for his versatility in acting. He also expressed interest in further developing his acting range.
