Sienna Rose Diana Miller (born 28 December 1981) is an American-British actress who was born in New York City but raised in London, beginning her career as a photography model, featuring in Italian Vogue and the 2003 Pirelli Calendar. She had her acting breakthrough in 2004 with roles in the films 'Layer Cake' and 'Alfie'. Her subsequent roles saw her portraying a variety of distinct characters, from socialite Edie Sedgwick in 'Factory Girl' (2006) to author Caitlin Macnamara in 'The Edge of Love' (2008), which resulted in her BAFTA Rising Star Award nomination in 2008. Despite the increased tabloid scrutiny leading to her brief sabbatical from acting, she returned powerfully with her portrayal of actress Tippi Hedren in the 2012 film 'The Girl', where she received nominations for the BAFTA Television Award for Best Actress and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Miniseries or Television Film. Miller continued to shine in numerous notable films such as 'Foxcatcher' (2014), 'American Sniper' (2014), 'The Lost City of Z' (2016), and 'American Woman' (2018). Also remembered for her roles in miniseries like 'The Loudest Voice' (2019) and 'Anatomy of a Scandal' (2022).
