The film kicks off at St. Mary’s Prep, where Tiffany and her friend Gabriella step out of class eagerly celebrating Tiffany’s birthday. As expected, her father Brian is waiting outside with a silly birthday hat and a rather underwhelming gift. Tiffany hopes to receive a car for her 18th birthday, but Brian, citing her lack of driving skills, gives her headphones instead. Just then, Tiffany’s mother Debrah arrives with her husband Calvin, gifting Tiffany the car she longed for, much to Brian’s annoyance.

At home, Brian vents his frustrations to Madea, Joe, Aunt Bam, and Hattie over Tiffany’s gift. Though they sympathize with Brian, they poke fun at his decision to give such a lackluster present. Wasting no time, Tiffany takes her new car for a spin only for Gabriella to realize just how unprepared Tiffany is for driving.

Seeking adventure, the girls head to a frat house to get invites to their Halloween party. However, Jonathan and Dino are hesitant due to a chaotic incident from the previous year’s party. After learning that Tiffany is now 18 and with her charming persuasion, the guys relent to hold the party at Lake Derrick, notorious for its dark history of murders from 15 years ago. Though apprehensive, the girls agree.

Meanwhile, a dramatic encounter unfolds when Anna disrupts the party scene, confronting her boyfriend Horse on the lawn. Back at home, Tiffany returns to find Brian throwing a surprise party, which turns out to be anything but exciting—complete with a petting zoo that fails to impress.

As Brian chats with Victor, the fathers of the girls discuss their daughters’ safety. With Brian’s strong disapproval, the girls still manage to persuade Debrah to allow them to attend the party despite Brian’s objections. Overhearing this, Madea sets off to inform Brian of their plans right after Victor grants permission to Gabriella.

At Lake Derrick, where Rae Sremmurd energizes the crowd, a chilling turn of events unfolds when partiers, submerged in fun, start disappearing, terrorized by masked figures and a girl who eerily resembles a character from The Ring. Panic ensues, and the girls begin to fear they might be haunted by the ghosts of Derrick and his daughter.

In a frantic bid to find the girls, Madea, Joe, Hattie, and Aunt Bam drive to the party site, encountering a frightened Leah who escapes the chaos. As they scatter in their search, Joe stays behind in their car, but soon they too find themselves under threat from the unseen assailants.

In a turn of events laden with screams and drama, Brian and Victor finally catch up with Madea and the group. To everyone’s shock, Brian reveals that he and Victor orchestrated the frights as a prank—his masks and the haunted girl were ruses created earlier for the birthday festivities.

Eventually, the tension defuses at the police station where all party attendees are detained for trespassing and drug possession. Tiffany offers an apology to her father and acknowledges that both he and Debrah need to work better as co-parents. Just when things seem to settle, Brian and Victor stumble upon a real masked menace outside, prompting them to take off in a hurry, foreshadowing more excitement to come.
