What is Marissa Cortez Wilson's secret former profession?
Get the full story of Spy Kids: All the Time in the World with a detailed plot summary. Dive into its themes, characters, and the twists that make it a must-watch.
On the surface, Marissa Cortez Wilson, portrayed by Jessica Alba, appears to have a perfect life: she is married to a well-known spy-hunting television reporter and has a new baby along with intelligent twin stepchildren. However, the reality is far from ideal, as she struggles to earn the affection of her stepchildren, Rebecca (Rowan Blanchard) and Cecil (Mason Cook), who seem to resist her every effort. To complicate matters, her husband, Wilbur, played by Joel McHale, is completely oblivious to the fact that Marissa is actually a retired secret agent.
Everything changes when the nefarious Timekeeper, portrayed by Jeremy Piven, emerges with plans to seize control of the planet. Marissa is summoned back into action by the OSS, the organization behind the greatest spies and the former home of the acclaimed Spy Kids division. As the countdown to Armageddon begins, Rebecca and Cecil discover that their seemingly mundane stepmother once held the title of a top agent.
“With great power comes great responsibility,” they realize as they must put their sibling rivalries aside. With a blend of their youthful ingenuity and the help of some familiar faces—Carmen (Alexa Vega) and Juni Cortez (Daryl Sabara)—alongside a series of extraordinary gadgets, this unlikely trio embarks on an adventure filled with action and laughter. Together, they will try to not only save the world but also mend their fractured family ties in the process.
