The Last: Naruto the Movie 2015

As the anniversary of the Fourth Ninja World War approaches, Kakashi Hatake (Kakashi), now the Sixth Hokage, detects an ominous portent in the celestial heavens - the moon is poised to collide with Earth. This cataclysmic event is orchestrated by Toneri Otsutsuki, a descendant of Hamura Otsutsuki’s twin brother, who seeks to fulfill his ancestor’s promise to judge humanity for their centuries-long distortion of the Sage of Six Paths’ teachings into the art of ninjutsu. Amidst this impending doom, the tranquility of the Rinne Festival is shattered when Hinata Hyuga (Hinata) creates a crimson scarf reminiscent of Naruto’s first gift from her, sparking Sakura Haruno’s (Sakura) offer to aid in its creation. However, as Naruto receives an assortment of gifts from his friends and acquaintances, including another scarf, Hinata begins to harbor doubts about their friendship.

Toneri seizes the opportunity to infiltrate the Hidden Leaf Village, abducting Hinata’s younger sister Hanabi (Hanabi) instead. Kakashi responds by dispatching a team consisting of Naruto, Hinata, Sakura, Sai, and Shikamaru Nara to rescue Hanabi. As they delve deeper into the abandoned village of the Otsutsuki Clan, Naruto is caught in an illusion that unlocks the mysteries of romantic love, allowing him to grasp the significance of his bond with Hinata. Meanwhile, the revelation unfolds that the Hyuga Clan is descended from Hamura’s kin who remained on Earth, and Toneri has transplanted Hanabi’s eyes into himself, enabling him to acquire the Tenseigan - an otherworldly power born from the sealed eyes of his ancestors. In a heart-wrenching turn of events, Hinata accepts Toneri’s proposal to save Hanabi, effectively ending her relationship with Naruto.

As the moon hurtles towards Earth, its meteorites are intercepted by the villagers, who valiantly defend their homes and evacuate civilians under Sasuke Uchiha’s (Sasuke) watchful eye. The impending disaster serves as a stark reminder of the consequences that lie ahead if Toneri’s malevolent plans are not thwarted. With time running out, Naruto must summon his strength to rescue Hanabi, confront the darkness within himself, and ultimately find a way to save Hinata from Toneri’s clutches. The fate of Earth hangs precariously in the balance as the heroes face their greatest challenge yet.

As Sakura’s words of reassurance still resonated within him, Naruto stood tall alongside his companions as they approached the imposing stronghold of Toneri. The air was thick with tension as Hamura’s ethereal presence contacted Hinata, the Byakugan Princess, and implored her aid in rectifying the Otsutsuki prince’s misguided interpretation of his own decree. However, Toneri remained obstinate, callously destroying Hinata’s cherished scarf and subsequently brainwashing her into servitude. Undeterred by this dire turn of events, Sakura and Sai skillfully secured Hanabi while Shikamaru valiantly held off the onslaught of Toneri’s mechanical minions.

As they breached the castle walls, Naruto sprang into action, rescuing Hinata from the clutches of her tormentor just as she attempted to thwart Toneri’s designs for obtaining the powerful Tenseigan. Despite his valiant efforts, Toneri managed to claim the artifact and, with a swipe of his blade, cleaved the moon in twain. Seizing the initiative, Naruto engaged Toneri in a fierce battle, ultimately overpowering the Otsutsuki prince with Hinata’s combined chakra. This synergy had the unintended consequence of restoring the moon to its natural orbit.

As Naruto spared Toneri’s life and allowed him to atone for his transgressions on the moon, Hinata reclaimed Hanabi’s eyes, imbuing her with a newfound sense of purpose. With this newfound understanding, Toneri realized the error of his ways and chose to remain on the lunar surface as penance for his wrongdoings. Following Naruto’s poignant revelation about the scarf he had worn earlier – a cherished memento from his late mother – Hinata and Naruto openly declared their love for each other, then returned home amidst the warm glow of their friends’ celebrations.

In a joyous ceremony, Naruto and Hinata exchanged vows, surrounded by the people they loved. As they built a life together, their family grew with the birth of two children: Boruto Uzumaki, the fiery spark that would one day become the Seventh Hokage; and Himawari Uzumaki, a gentle soul who would inherit her parents’ unwavering dedication to protecting their village and its people.
