A highly proficient CIA combat operative and investigator, Parker (Jessica Alba), finds herself on a crucial mission in Syria alongside her friend Spider (Tone Bell). However, a call from her hometown sheriff and ex-lover, Jesse Swann (Mark Webber), abruptly diverts her attention, delivering the tragic news of her father’s passing, Harry (Alejandro De Hoyos), who died in a mining accident.

Displaying her exceptional combat skills and experience against formidable adversaries, Parker challenges her unit leader’s drastic decision to dispose of captured terrorists, an act that leads to immediate repercussions. Instead of obeying the order for her transfer, her ally Spider intervenes by hacking into their command communications to eliminate the request.

Upon returning to her hometown of Creation, New Mexico, for her father’s funeral, Parker is confronted with the unsettling suggestion of suicide as she grapples with the reality of her father’s death. Unwilling to accept that Harry’s demise might not have been an accident, she declares her intention to leave town post-funeral, as she feels nothing remains for her there.

While attending to the affairs of her father’s bar, Maria’s, Parker reconnects with the bar’s manager and her friend, Mike (Gabriel Basso), and begins to delve into the circumstances surrounding the mine where Harry died. Her investigation leads her to piece together critical evidence indicating that Harry’s death was no accident, but rather a calculated act involving a grenade explosion, revealing his expertise with explosives.

As she examines the mine, Parker notices newly installed security cameras that have cloud storage for their footage, a crucial element in her quest for the truth. Tensions escalate when she encounters Elvis (Jake Weary), Jesse’s younger brother, which culminates in a confrontation at a local bar. Later, she discovers a stolen vehicle laden with a machine gun and intervenes to save the hardware store owner from robbers.

After witnessing Elvis and his associates involved in rampant gunfire and suspicious activity on her property, Parker’s investigation into their armory reveals that Elvis operates as a weapons dealer on the dark web, supplying terrorists with military-grade arms. Enlisting Spider’s help, she requests him to retrieve CCTV footage concerning the mine’s incident.

Parker’s pursuit of justice leads her to trail Elvis, discovering him demonstrating weapons for domestic customers, including a shocking deal offering five RPGs for half a million dollars. In a poignant moment of reconnection, she engages with Jesse, who has familial ties to Ezekiel Swann (Anthony Michael Hall), Jesse’s father and a senator vying for reelection.

Under the cover of darkness, Parker infiltrates Jesse’s office to uncover evidence related to Harry’s alleged suicide. Following her father’s funeral, when the situation grows dire as she learns that Elvis’s men are intruding on Harry’s mine, Parker confronts them only to see her bar go up in flames—an explosion orchestrated to distract her from Elvis.

Events spiral further when Jesse acknowledges the truth of Harry’s murder and the cover-up that followed. It’s revealed that Harry uncovered illicit arms dealings in the mine, leading to his demise at the hands of Jesse. When Jesse attempts to offer Parker $5 million for her land and encourages her to leave town for good, she counters, asserting her possession of incriminating footage against the Swanns.

Tension mounts as Ezekiel orders an end to the argument, driving Jesse to eliminate Parker’s lawyer to suppress the growing threat. After a harrowing series of events where Parker is captured and tortured in a holding cell, she stages a daring escape in a police cruiser, eventually crashing on Mike’s property.

While recovering at Mike’s secret weed lab, threats from Elvis loom large as he searches for her. After days of recuperation, Parker, undeterred by adversity, seeks to alert the authorities regarding the rampant arms thefts but is repeatedly rebuffed. Driven by vengeance, and with the help of friends like Mo (Hari Dhillon) and Frank, she amasses a cache of weapons to wage a battle against the Swann family.

A formidable terrorist, Ghost (Kaiwi Lyman), who has funded the Swann’s arms operation, finds his plans thwarted by Parker’s relentless pursuit of justice. As tensions reach a boiling point, Parker confronts Ezekiel in a climactic showdown where she learns the truth of her father’s fate. In a final confrontation, she discovers the depths of betrayal and the lengths to which the Swanns will go.

Ultimately, Jessie’s desperate attempt to retain control leads to a tragic end as he detonates himself in a last-ditch effort to escape. With the Swann family dealt with, Parker can now seek closure and begin anew. A month later, she and Spider embark on a road trip back to their CIA duties, with hopeful plans to revive Maria’s, surrounded by a supportive community and the lingering resolve of her father’s legacy.
