On a rainy evening, Glen’s unfortunate encounter with a spike strip leaves him stranded. Seeking refuge, he goes to the home of the married couple, Art and Cyndi. In an unexpected turn of events, Art suggests that Glen spend the night and even encourages him to be intimate with Cyndi, as Art’s antidepressants have severely diminished their own intimate life as a couple.

As days pass, the situation takes a shocking twist when Art appears unexpectedly at Glen’s apartment and reveals that Cyndi is pregnant.
