Nathalie Joanne Emmanuel, born March 2, 1989, is an accomplished British actress. She initiated her acting career in theatre during the late 1990s, featuring prominently in West End productions, including the much-acclaimed musical, The Lion King. In 2006, Emmanuel ventured onto the screen, starring as Sasha Valentine in the soap opera Hollyoaks, subsequently appearing in various British television series until her debut film appearance in Twenty8k (2012).

Emmanuel's breakthrough came from her role as Missandei in the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones (2013–2019). Following Game of Thrones, she took on significant roles in Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (2015) and its sequel Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018). Emmanuel also featured prominently in several Fast & Furious films, including Furious 7 (2015), The Fate of the Furious (2017), F9 (2021), and Fast X (2023). More recently, she has assumed lead roles in Army of Thieves (2021) and Megalopolis (2024).

Emmanuel was born in Southend-on-Sea, a city in Essex, England. Her acting passion was recognized early on by her mother, leading Emmanuel to attend acting, singing, and dancing lessons. She has been open about her plant-based diet and her mistrust toward the food industry. Over the years, Emmanuel has been recognized for her acting talents, winning the Screen Nation award for Best Female Performance in Film in 2015.
