After the tragic loss of his beloved wife, Sonia, at the hands of a ruthless henchman, Ranvir Singh (Saif Ali Khan) is consumed by a desire for vengeance. His investigation leads him to the sinister billionaire businessman Arman Malik (John Abraham), who orchestrated Sonia’s murder. In a calculated move, Ranvir ingratiates himself with Arman’s half-sister and business partner, Elena (Deepika Padukone), as well as his fiancée Omisha (Jacqueline Fernandez), who deceitfully presents herself as Sonia’s sister, Tanya. By feigning affection for them, Ranvir aims to uncover the truth behind his wife’s untimely demise.

Arman is known for his cold-hearted business tactics and his intolerance for any form of deceit. With the help of his friend, retired cop Robert D’Costa (Anil Kapoor) and his assistant Cherry, Ranvir builds a deceptive business proposition intended to ensnare Arman. Exploiting the news of a stolen euro currency raw paper, Ranvir proposes a deal involving casinos worth far more than the price he offers. As the plot unfolds, he tricks the casino owner, Vikram, into seeking a loan from Arman, leading Vikram to his financial ruin.

As Ranvir becomes increasingly close to Arman through this endeavor, he succumbs to the charm of Omisha, all while secretly plotting against Arman. Yet, the tension escalates when Omisha learns of Ranvir’s true intentions and conveys this to Arman. Robert, caught in the double-cross, also informs Arman of Ranvir’s plans.

In a twist of fate, Ranvir and Elena develop romantic feelings for each other amidst the chaos. Arman responds to the perceived threat by ordering a hit on Elena, prompting her to flee with Ranvir’s help. Together, they form an alliance against Arman. Ranvir concocts a plan to steal the Shroud of Turin, proposing a lucrative deal that both he and Arman can profit from. This deal spirals into further treachery, with Ranvir managing to steal the shroud while orchestrating a complex exchange.

In a shocking turn, the exchange leads to betrayal when Omisha reveals her loyalty to Arman, leaving Ranvir in a perilous situation. However, Ranvir is not easily defeated. He reveals his master plan to trap Arman and exposes the truth behind their betrayal, which culminates in a dramatic confrontation. As tensions rise, Arman and Omisha attempt to escape with their ill-gotten gains via parachute, but Ranvir and Elena manage to elude them in a high-octane escape.

The stakes reach a climax during a meeting where Arman presents the shroud, only to be met with fury when it is revealed to be fake, along with the counterfeit money. Amidst the ensuing chaos, Ranvir unveils that the real shroud has been hidden all along in an Italian church, while Elena cleverly swapped the bags, ensuring their victory against Arman’s treachery. As Ranvir confronts Arman about the murder of Sonia, a shocking confession comes to light: Arman claims to have killed Sonia out of love, believing she intended to betray him as well. The culmination of rage, betrayal, and twisted love paints a complex portrait of vengeance where the lines between right and wrong blur significantly.
