What percentage of market share did the South East Asian Triad hold over Asia's illicit trade?
At the apex of its influence, the South East Asian Triad commands a staggering 80% of smuggling operations across Asia. With the infamous Golden Triangle serving as its primary center, the Triad earns significant profits through illegal activities such as drug trafficking, arms dealing, and human smuggling. To maintain order and suppress external threats, the Triad’s leaders established a covert group known as the Six Seas—a collection of six clandestine operatives entrusted with enforcing their will through ruthless methods. These operatives operate in complete anonymity, executing extreme measures to uphold the Triad’s authority.
In the aftermath of a brutal attack on a village stemming from the theft of Triad funds, Ito encounters the sole survivor, a young girl named Reina. As Triad soldiers move to eliminate her, Ito decisively intervenes, killing them but sustaining injuries in the skirmish. He conceals Reina in an apartment, where his girlfriend Sinta ultimately discovers her. While caring for Ito’s wounds, Sinta chastises him for his choice to save the girl. It becomes evident that any disobedience among the Six Seas is met with dire consequences. Seeking assistance, Sinta contacts Fatih, a respected associate, and Ito confides his plan to forge new identities for both himself and Reina, intending to flee Indonesia for a better future. Fatih alerts him to the dangers that lay ahead, citing his extensive list of enemies.
Meanwhile, in Macau, Arian is found entertaining a high-ranking Triad member. When this individual disrespects him and assaults a waitress, Arian retaliates, eliminating everyone in the room except the waitress herself. In the midst of this chaos, he receives a call from Chien Wu, who informs him of Ito’s treachery and commands Arian to kill his former friend.
Back in Indonesia, Ito navigates his precarious situation while attempting to secure funds from Yohan, a high-ranking Triad official based at a butcher shop. Realizing that Yohan has been instructed to betray him, Ito engages in a ferocious battle, defeating Yohan and his men. However, during this skirmish, Yohan manages to contact help, resulting in Ito’s capture by corrupt law enforcement officers.
As events unfold, Bobby, a drug-dependent companion, is escorting Sinta when he discovers more Triad operatives infiltrating their hideout. In a heroic act, Bobby pushes Sinta to safety before returning to confront the Triad henchmen alongside Fatih and Wisnu. After a fierce fight, they find themselves up against Alma and Elena, two assassins sent by Chien Wu. Unfortunately, Bobby falls in this encounter, followed by Wisnu at the hands of Alma. Just when Fatih faces defeat, Arian arrives just in time, rescuing Fatih, and engaging Alma in combat.
As tension escalates, secrets unfold. Fatih accuses Arian of betraying Ito’s whereabouts to the Triad. Arian admits to this but claims his intentions have since changed, wishing to assist Fatih. With urgency, Fatih warns Arian, and they flee with Reina. Upon realizing a Triad ambush lays ahead, Fatih sacrifices himself to ensure Reina’s safety, suffering a mortal wound in the process.
Awakening in the police van, Ito battles against the corrupt officers and manages to escape back to the apartment, only to discover his friends’ tragic fates. In frantic search, he finds Reina, and together they move to another safe location, building a bond amidst the chaos. The enigmatic figure known as The Operator confronts Ito, claiming she is tasked with eliminating him. Yet, when Reina intercedes, The Operator hesitates, revealing her allegiances remain uncertain.
In a tense meeting, Chien Wu confronts Arian, issuing a final ultimatum: kill Ito or face consequences. Arian struggles with the weight of betrayal, feeling scorned by Ito’s ascent to the Six Seas without him. As they reunite at a warehouse for a fateful encounter, each grapples with their past decisions. Meanwhile, an intense showdown occurs between Ito and Chien Wu’s henchmen, culminating in a brutal battle against the mercenaries sent after Reina.
Ultimately, Ito and Arian’s confrontation reaches a climactic end. In a tragic turn of fate, Chien Wu executes Arian as punishment for disobedience.
As the dust settles, The Operator guides Reina to Ito, allowing him to hand her a new passport and bid her farewell as she boards a departing ship, a scene filled with emotion as they part ways. but their enemies linger. As Ito sits in his car, the Triad closes in, guns drawn. With a sardonic grin, Ito accelerates toward them, prepared for the inevitable clash.
