Here's my rephrased version:

Lars, a disenchanted soap opera helmsman, and his wife Lisa, an actress struggling to find her footing, embark on a cabin retreat with murder on their minds. Viktor, a naive friend of Lars', offers to help him eliminate Lisa in exchange for a share of her life insurance policy. As the plan unfolds, Lars attacks Lisa with a hammer, but she turns the tables, temporarily immobilizing him with a taser. After binding Lars, Viktor arrives, inadvertently shifting the dynamics in favor of his hapless friend.

However, when Lisa reveals that she can offer Viktor a more lucrative deal than Lars', the two men engage in a brutal fight, resulting in Lars seriously injuring Viktor. Despite his wife's pleas for mercy, Lars mistakenly shoots and kills Viktor with a gun, setting off a chain reaction as the ceiling collapses, claiming the lives of three fugitives hiding in the attic: Petter, Dave, and Roy.

The trio had taken refuge in the cabin prior to Lars' and Lisa's arrival, forced to hide when the couple showed up. As tensions escalate, it becomes clear that Dave intended to harm Lars, not his wife, prompting Lisa to plead with the three not to hurt them, offering a substantial payoff the next day. Eventually, the couple manages to break free and makes a desperate attempt to escape.

The ensuing battles are fierce and relentless, but the couple's survival is secured by the timely intervention of Mikkel, Lars' father and owner of the cabin. Mikkel, alerted by his friend Hans about strange occurrences at the cabin, had abandoned his care home to investigate. He joins forces with Dave and Roy in a violent confrontation that ultimately claims their lives.

With Petter emerging victorious, Lars and Lisa overpower him and dispose of his body in a nearby lake, where he meets a watery grave. When police arrive on the scene, the couple, reinvigorated by their renewed love, present themselves as heroes, spinning a self-aggrandizing narrative that propels them to fame. They capitalize on their notoriety by producing a Hollywood film, with Lars at the helm and Lisa starring as herself in this absurdly meta twist.
