Haley Bennett

Haley Bennett, born as Haley Loraine Keeling on January 7, 1988, is an American actress who made her film debut in the romantic comedy _Music and Lyrics_ (2007). She has since secured roles in many prominent films such as _The Equalizer_ (2014), _The Magnificent Seven_ (2016), _Hillbilly Elegy_ (2020), and _Cyrano_ (2021). Bennett was born in Fort Myers, Florida, and spent a majority of her childhood in a nomadic fashion, constantly moving between her separated parents in Ohio and Florida. Her father shared with her a love for outdoor experiences like fishing, hunting, boating and sports, while her mother, an artist, nurtured her feminine and artistic side. Bennett's venture into showbiz started during her teenage years when she won a major award at the International Modeling and Talent Convention in 2001 and 2006, acted in school plays and sang in choirs. When Bennett was 18, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career and managed to secure representation after her successful audition for the role of popstar Cora Corman. Despite a promising start, Bennett struggled initially before signing a three-picture deal with Warner Bros. Bennett's breakthrough came when she secured the lead role in the thriller film Kristy (2014). Known also for her role in Hardcore Henry (2015) and The Magnificent Seven (2016), Bennett continues to embody diverse characters. In her personal life, Bennett led a quiet life with English film director, Joe Wright and their daughter born in December 2018.
