**Kurt Vogel Russell**, born on March 17, 1951, is a renowned American actor who made his foray into acting in 1963 at the young age of 12. He began with the Western TV series The Travels of Jaimie McPheeters and later signed a ten-year contract with The Walt Disney Company during the late 1960s. He starred in numerous films, including The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, Now You See Him, Now You Don't, and The Strongest Man in the World, and his portrayal of Elvis Presley in the 1979 film Elvis earned him an Emmy nomination. In the 1980s, Russell continued his successful career by starring in a series of films directed by John Carpenter, including Escape from New York, its sequel Escape from L.A., The Thing, and Big Trouble in Little China. Besides his early TV and film work, Russell has shown his prowess in a plethora of films, including Used Cars, The Best of Times, Overboard, Tango & Cash, Backdraft, Tombstone, Stargate, Executive Decision, Breakdown, Vanilla Sky, Miracle, Sky High, Death Proof, The Hateful Eight, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. He also appeared in the Fast & Furious franchise as Mr. Nobody, took on the role of Ego in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and played Santa Claus in The Christmas Chronicles film series. Despite an injury curtailing his professional baseball career, Russell's acting career thrived, making him one of the most iconic actors of his generation with a career spanning over six decades.
