Ryan Reynolds was born as Ryan Rodney Reynolds on October 23, 1976. He is a Canadian and American actor, producer, and businessman. He began his career starring in the Canadian teen soap opera Hillside and later landed the lead role on the sitcom Two Guys and a Girl. Reynolds then starred in a range of films, including comedies and superhero franchises. His biggest commercial success came with the superhero films Deadpool, Deadpool 2, and Deadpool & Wolverine, in which he played the title character. Reynolds's performance in the first garnered him a nomination for a Golden Globe Award. He has voice acted in The Croods franchise and Turbo, and starred in 6 Underground, Free Guy, and The Adam Project. He was named People's Sexiest Man Alive in 2010 and awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2017. He also co-owns Welsh football club Wrexham and owns a stake in Mint Mobile. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Ryan is the youngest of four sons. His acting career began at age thirteen. Despite initially quitting acting at age 19, he was convinced to try again and move to Los Angeles. His career took off and he now has a successful acting career, as well as various business ventures.
